We hope you have been keeping safe and well.
Given the easing of restrictions announced, we can resume training and playing, however with restrictions in place that must be adhered to.
Mid-Week & Sunday Training:
Mid-week training commences on Thursday 29 July 2021. The schedule for Mid-Week Training and Sunday Training can be found below:

All sessions will be held at Altona Sports Centre.
The following must be adhered to:
โข Only players, coaches and team managers can attend training.
โข No parents/spectators can attend.
โข Players must arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to their session and leave immediately upon completion of their session
โข All players and coaches must use the correct entry and exit doors and check in using the QR code system.
โข Sanitise your hands on entry and exit
โข Masks must be worn as per the guidance below
VJBL Friday Night Games:
VJBL will resume this Friday Night.
The games will proceed as initially fixtured for Friday, 30 July 2021.

โข For players who are 18 years and under, they can have 1 parent or guardian attend
โข Players must arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to their game and leave immediately upon completion of their session

โข Masks must be worn as per the guidance below
Big V:
Big V will resume this weekend with no spectators able to attend. The schedule will proceed this weekend as originally scheduled. Games missed over the last two weekends will be rescheduled with a fixture for the remaining games to be released soon.
Mask Rules:
Masks are currently mandatory for all patrons over 12 years of age at all times indoors (state-wide) unless a medically exemption applies.
Players, coaches and referees are exempt while on court participating in an exertive role, however, must be worn while not playing and on entry and exit of stadium (including going to the restrooms).
We acknowledge it can be difficult for athletes and families coming in and out of lockdown. We recommend you checking out Emma Murray, High Professional Mindfulness Instagram Page for some great tips to assist you during these challenging times.

We appreciate that the restrictions are difficult however we look forward to everyone adhering to them to ensure we can all be a part of the game we love.
We thank Basketball Victoria, the Stadium Management, Club Administrators, Team Managers and Coaches who have all worked hard to ensure we can resume basketball.
