BIG V REGULAR SEASON – Round 18
Our Senior Gator Women took on the Surf Coast Chargers to start off our weekend. The girls come away with a great win on the road beating the Chargers by a comfortable margin.

A number of players contributing to the scoreboard with 4 Gators in double digits. Awesome to see Reyhan Aziz back on the court where she returned in style with a double double, 13 points and 11 rebounds.

The Senior Gator Men finished with a fantastic performance in our last Home Game of the Season as they beat the Maccabi Warriors on Saturday night. Great awareness and sharp shooting from the Gators especially in the 2nd quarter gave them a 23-point lead at halftime.

That lead extended throughout the remainder of the game. Teamwork and ball movement lead to some sublime plays and a great win for our Gators locking in their finals spot.

Both Senior Mens and Women’s Gator teams will play a Finals double-header on Sunday at #theSwamp so make sure you come down and cheer them on!

YOUTH LEAGUE MENS FINAL:
Unfortunately it was not the fairy-tale ending our Youth League Men had hoped for as they came so close in the Semi Final to the Frankston Blues. The Gators started the match off well in a close contest at the Swamp but in the 2nd half the Blues took control especially in the last quarter, with the Gators running out of time for their comeback, losing 90-95.

All the best and congratulations to the Blues on making the Grand Final. For our Gators, we are so proud of their efforts and achievements this season, the Gator Fam have enjoyed the human highlight reels you provided this season.
