Congratulations to the players listed below on being selected into a team or as a development player. For players who were not selected, we thank you for your time during the selections and encourage you to attend development programs throughout the year and wish you all the best with your basketball.

For players who have been successful, congratulations on your team selection. We are pleased to welcome back our existing gators family members and welcome our newcomers for the 2022/2023 Representative Season.

Please note that players have been placed into squads and these may be subject to change prior to the first round of grading. Teams can also be changed prior to the second grading phase.

Development players are invited to join to train with the relevant age group. In the event a spot becomes available, they will be invited to play with a team.

Registration & Fees

If you wish to accept your place in a team, you are required to register through Player HQ by 5:00pm on Wednesday 19 October 2022.

Please ensure you register at the specific link for your team, as outlined on the team announcements. 

It is important that you register within this timeframe to ensure we can complete our team entries. You are required to pay a $25.00 to secure your position. Please make sure your contact details are correct when registering, as these will be used to contact you going forward.

Clearances

If you require a clearance from your previous club, this will be initiated through the Player Registration process. These must be finalised prior to the first Grading Game.

Training

Training for teams commences this week. All sessions will occur at the Altona Sports Centre, 290 Queen Street, Altona. Your allocated training time is listed next to your team allocation.

Practice Games

On Friday, 21 October 2022, the majority of our teams will play a practice game against Hawthorn Magic. The fixture will be released shortly. This is a practice game only. The girls will play at Altona and the boys at Hawthorn.

It is expected that players attend all training and games. In the event you are unable to attend, you must notify your coach well in advance.

Uniforms

Each player who does not currently have a playing uniform will be provided a loaner uniform prior to their first practice game. You will need to wear black shorts, if you do not have Gator’s shorts. Given our increase in teams, we kindly request anyone who has an old uniform no longer being used donated it for new players to use. You could also look to sell the uniforms.

Over the next two Sundays, players will be able to be fitted for their uniforms. A schedule will be distributed shortly. Orders will then be made through COAST 2 COAST LOCKER ROOM

Orders will be able to be made from Sunday onwards through the Locker Room.
